The Beginning
At the age of 10, Greg Thornton asked his dad to buy him a pool table and in rural Cheboygan County, his obsession began. Greg's passion for the game and desire to elevate the quality of equipment, amateur handicapping, and tournaments for players continues to be the driving force behind Statewide Billiards. Greg has over 40 years of personal experience in table mechanics and his son Curtis has been onboard for close to 20 years. Together their knowledge and expertise span across all areas of the sport.
